About Just Us Gals
Just Us Gals is a Boston lifestyle blog by gals for gals. The blog originated as an e-mail chain for our book club, where we found we were flooding each other's inboxes with information on new companies, recipes, sales, and our favorite content from around the web. We took our passion for sharing information and turned it into the current medium of JUGs. Just Us Gals offers insight on style, living, health, and careers for 20-something gals living in Boston. The blog serves as our genuine, light-hearted voice as we strive to lead compassionate, fulfilling lives.
Cameron, 30, is a marketing manager at The Nature Conservancy and is passionate about green living and the "conscious consumer" movement. She founded BostonGreenBlog.com, a sustainable lifestyle resource, in 2010.
She has lived in the North End for seven years and loves learning new things about Boston everyday. Her goal is to promote ethical, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle choices to Boston residents. When she isn’t blogging or at work, Cameron is an educator at Follain and a "desk diva" at Recycle Studio. She loves to read, visit art museums, and sip on wheat beers and locally made wines. All opinions expressed on JUGs are that of Cameron and not of The Nature Conservancy or Follain.
Colleen, 30, is a social media marketer for a health and wellness magazine. In addition to being one of JUGs new contributors, she also shares her views on her blog Here She Stands. As a side hustle, Colleen takes on freelance social media marketing projects for small businesses.
When she was given the opportunity to write for JUGs she jumped at the chance to contribute to such a great resource for woman living in Boston. When she is not working or blogging she is likely snuggled up with her Chihuahua or venturing into Boston to go shopping, meet up with friends, try new restaurants, attend events, and more. You can follow Colleen on Twitter @here_she_stands. All opinions expressed on JUGs are, personally, that of Colleen.
After discovering her first blog, Design*Sponge, years ago, Suzanne has been hooked on blogs and was so excited to finally have a blog to call her own when JUGs started in 2012. When not designing or blogging you can find Suzanne stealing her boyfriend's clothes, cruising around her new hood, Venice Beach, with her French Bulldog or window shopping on Abbot Kinney. All opinions expressed on JUGs are, personally, that of Suzanne.
Faith, 22, is a recent college graduate (yay adulthood!) and Internet aficionado trying to find her perfect path in life.
As a native Southerner, Faith is still trying to warm up to the New England climate and lack of good fast-food chicken options. She can usually be found binge watching her way through her Netflix queue, trying to go to yoga, or missing her two black cats. Faith’s professional interests are within the realm of social media, public relations, politics, and content creation. She is super excited to be a contributor for JUGs and cannot wait to see where these gals take her!
Meredith, 30, is a residential leasing manager for a local real estate developer. Her longtime passion for design and architecture, mixed with an educational background in human services led her to wanting to help others find their future home and support Boston's ongoing expansion. She also enjoys brokering deals for friends looking to buy a condo as a side hustle!
When the opportunity surfaced for a creative outlet outside of the office, she jumped at the chance to write about a city she knows so well. Meredith lived in the North End for seven years and recently moved to Southie. When she isn't out exploring the city's newest developments, Meredith enjoys Sox games at Fenway and planning her next trip to fuel her wanderlust. All opinions expressed on JUGs are, personally, that of Meredith.
