The Only Five Things you Need for Christmas Break

Okay, the time to "borrow" mom's wrapping supplies are over.  Real gals prep everything and bring already-wrapped gifts home, plus you're going to need time to wrap dad's presents for him (a tradition I love!).

PJ set

After packing your statement outfit(s) for Christmas Eve mass and/or family party, all you really need are "slug" (think about it) clothes for lounging.  Keep it simple and chill by reverting to childhood and staying in your PJs all day!

Laundry

It wouldn't really be a trip home without bringing (and doing) laundry, right?  Luckily I have in-unit machines in my apartment but otherwise it's key to resort to the college thang and hauling everything home to freshen up before heading back to the city.

Book

Leave the electronics off and catch up on a book club read!  Or, maybe one you skipped earlier in the year, or, get ahead for another for 2015!

Planner

A new year means many occasions to look forward to!  Start penning them in during down time after gift giving is all done.  Extra challenge: How about even writing yourself a note of gratitude to close out 2014 and reflect on!

Christmastime is finally here!  Unless you're still at work (like me), we hope you got home safely!  With the holiday falling mid-week this year, we all get a nice long weekend.  It's nice when being home brings a sense of calm to a hectic time of year, and it's always great to catch up with loved ones you may not see very often.
