Your Guide to Small Business Saturday in Boston
Today we are joining the Anti-BlackFriday Squad and are boycotting the "buy, buy, buy for the sake of buying" mentality. We're taking the day for oursleves to be with friends, work on personal projects, and enjoy the outdoors, just like a real vacation day should be spent!
As we've mentioned before we're on budgets (but what 20-something isn't?) and are really trying to be more conscious of what we buy and where we buy from. That's why we will be back out to do a little shopping tomorrow, on Small Business Saturday. SBS is a great day to shop for those items you've had on your list and support a local store or artist, instead of a chain retailer. Many small businesses are offering sales and competitive deals tomorrow and throughout the holiday as well, so don't fret. Just remember, "local is the new black."
