Why I Vote

IMG_6998.jpeg

I vote because there was once a time when I wouldn’t be allowed to vote. Not only because I’m a woman, but because I’m also a Black woman with a white mother. Our votes influence a number of things in this country and we should elect people that value the things we value. I’ve always exercised my right to vote, but now more than ever, I’ve fully understood the weight of it. I wouldn’t be here today if people in this country didn’t exercise their right to vote. So I make damn sure I exercise mine.

Share your reasons for voting and we’ll share them on our social accounts! Let’s raise our voices and make a difference.
